AdAssist, which runs the Google Ads (Adpharm) and LinkedIn Ads (Adpharm) connectors. Google shows it as "Adpharm Ads Assistant". Last updated 2026-10-07.
This is an internal tool run by Adpharm for its own staff. Only people signed in with an @theadpharm.com Google account can use it. Here's what it does with data.
It's an AI tool
You use it through Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic. Claude writes the reports and drafts the changes, and what it writes can be wrong, so check it before you rely on it or approve anything. Claude can't change an ad account by itself: every change is a plan that you approve outside the chat, and anything that could raise spend or change what's showing needs your passkey.
What it reads
When you sign in, Google tells us your Google account ID and email address, which is how we know it's you. When you connect Google Ads, Google gives the app access to the Google Ads accounts your own login can reach, and only those. When you connect LinkedIn Ads, LinkedIn gives it access to the ad accounts your own LinkedIn login has a role on, and the Company Pages you're allowed to post ads for. The app reads campaign settings, performance numbers, ads, review status and the like when you (through Claude) ask for them.
Where it goes
- Answers go back to the Claude app you're using (claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude Code), which is how you see them, so Anthropic processes them as part of your conversation.
- Some LinkedIn data never goes to Claude: LinkedIn's standard lists (job titles, industries, job functions, locations and so on), company page details, other members' profiles, and the text of LinkedIn posts that weren't made through this app. Claude only gets IDs for those. You see the actual names on the app's own pages, like the approval page and your console.
- Your Google and LinkedIn access is stored encrypted in our own database on Cloudflare. It's only unlocked inside a request that's signed in as you, and it's never sent anywhere except back to Google or LinkedIn.
- Change plans you draft (what would change, the checks that ran, and what actually happened) are kept so they can be approved, applied, checked and undone, along with an audit log of who did what and when.
- The app only creates LinkedIn posts as part of an ad you approved. They're ad-only posts on a Company Page you're allowed to post for, and they don't show up in the Page's feed.
- Emails about your changes (receipts, failures, new passkeys or API keys) go out through Adpharm's own email service. They carry IDs and links, never ad text or search terms.
Beyond what's listed here, we don't share any of it, sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI.
Google user data
Adpharm Ads Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to show you your accounts and to make the changes you approve.
LinkedIn data
LinkedIn data is used only to show you your ad accounts and to make the changes you approve, and we follow LinkedIn's API terms and its Developer AI Policy in how we handle it.
How long it's kept
Web sign-ins last 12 hours. Claude connections need you to sign in again at least every 30 days. The audit log and plan records are kept as Adpharm's record of changes made to client accounts. LinkedIn data inside plan records is deleted after a year, the audit log keeps only LinkedIn IDs, and LinkedIn's names for job titles, industries, companies and members are never stored at all. If a client stops working with Adpharm, or asks us to, we delete their LinkedIn data within 10 days.
Cutting it off
In your console you can unlink Google Ads (we delete the stored access and revoke it at Google) or LinkedIn Ads (we delete the stored access), revoke Claude connections and API keys, and remove passkeys. You can also remove "Adpharm Ads Assistant" from your Google account's third-party connections, or "AdAssist" from the apps you've allowed in your LinkedIn settings, at any time, and Adpharm's Google Workspace admin can block the app for everyone.
Questions
Ask Adpharm's digital team, who run this app. That's also where to report anything Claude got wrong or did badly.
